Pradollano Spain

Pradollano (or officially Sierra Nevada) is a Spanish town and hamlet belonging to the municipality of Monachil, in the province of Granada. It is located in the southeastern part of the Vega de Granada region. Near this town are the nuclei of Canales, Pinos Genil and Güéjar Sierra. With its 2,078 meters above sea level, it is the population center located at the highest altitude in all of Spain. Pradollano is the only inhabited nucleus of the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, and where all the main services of this resort are located. It has 4,500 hotel beds and receives 14,000 visitors a day.
